I am a professional programmer with a background in C/C++/Tcl/Perl/Java/Unix/Linux, quite some experience in distributed computing and web application programming. I am mostly specialized in creating tools that get used by application programmers. In my spare time I play 3D games and create maps for UT2004.

Hi, yes Nalicity's a good site for uploading maps/reviews etc...but i've had problems there b4.
Firstly when you ask for a review of your map nothing happens and the 'known' mappers only seem to get reviewed (or the admin maps).I think new mappers should get president over pro mappers.
I annoyed a user once by flaming his map, which was a bad map, and became banned from the Forum because of this!? The site is run by 16-20 yr olds and no allowance seems to be made, lol, due to lack of puberty I spose..Us 30+ mappers, old skool, who have been playing games since the ZX81, have been ignored nowdays, probly due to far too many ppl of the net now.
lol, rant over and out.... ;)
Wow, a comment! Sorry, I just overlooked it.
Hmm ... it's the only site from where I got some really harsh comments about gameplay and not even a slight recognition for the map's visual values. Anyway. OTOH, Hourences seems to be quite at home there, and in general I think they are right, gameplay-wise. Competitive DM is really a different beast. I'll tackle that crowd with my next map. We'll se :)
